"BAD EXPERIENCE It was my first time at the salon. I was a little nervous because I haven’t had anyone touch my hair in a long time. I had spoken with the owner and from our conversation I felt confident that I would be in good hands! on the day of my appointment I arrived early just so I can go over everything once again and explain to them exactly what I was looking for this way there would be no confusion. I was a little uneasy when I first walked in and not feeling too confident, but I put those fears aside and I trusted that faith and her team knew what they were doing. I explicitly went over exactly what I was looking for with the stylist and also the salon owner went over color swatches I told her what color I would like. I want to stay away from any bright reds or oranges undertones and please do not use any fashion colors, and after the conversation, I felt more comfortable as Faith expressed to me I got you… I know exactly what you want! I let myself relax and let the process begin so I got in the chair. They did my highlights/ balayage and It was time for my color to be applied, I did get a little nervous when I saw the color in the bowl It definitely didn’t look like what I was looking for but I was reassured that, that’s not the color it’s going to be so please relax don’t worry. I said OK well big surprise to me when I stood up and looked in the mirror immediately knew this is not going to be the outcome I wanted and after my hair was washed and I was able to get a good look in the mirror it just confirmed my fears my hair wasn’t not ever close to the color I asked for. I was then brought back over to the stylist and put back in the chair to start my haircut and I looked her in the face and said this is not the color I wanted. It’s not even close and I asked for minimal highlights in my bang and my bangs were completely highlighted a garnet reddish color along with the rest of my hair. I clearly expressed I wanted dark hair with a plum or eggplant color highlight🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. Now let’s move on to the haircut The stylist asked how I would like my haircut. I explained to her that I would like it feather in the front a curtain bang and long layers in the back she began to express her concerns that she felt layers in the back of my hair would not look good because my hair was to thin, now don’t get me wrong I appreciate your opinion but at the end the day I was the customer and it’s not your hair, fast forward to the blow out once again I was asked how would I like my hair blown and I explained I would like it a lot of volume in the back with loose curls in the front under forward to the face and once again that was not what I received. I must say the owner did come over because she did see the expression on my face and she did mention we’re gonna take $30 off and you can come back in and we will darken the highlights. I did appreciate that and I agreed to come back in fast-forward to the day I went back, I walked in and Faith said don’t worry I already have your color already mixed which I thought was a little odd to have a color pre mixed before a clients comes in but hey she is the master stylist and I am not. I was immediately rushed over to the sink and the color was applied and It was washed out and I looked in the mirror I just knew the $400 I just spent on a balayage were completely gone covered. My hair was now all one color and instead of having that color as the highlights like originally requested , my whole head was now that color. So basically I paid $400 for dark hair which could’ve been achieved if I would’ve just had that one color put on with no highlights or balayage and it would have been a lot less money. Expensive lesson learned on my part and extremely disappointing experience. 1st photo is what I asked for. 2nd photo is what I received 3rd photo was the final result."

"My daughter had her school dance and we made an appointment with Seleba. She did an amazing job with my daughter’s hair. We showed her a picture of wehat we wanted and she was spot on. She was also so sweet, patient and kind. It goes along way when someone smiles and seems excited about what they do. She was lovely and professional. She made my daughter very happy ."

"I cant say enough about the owner, Faith. She was so nice and when I spoke with her on the phone the first time, it was like talking to an old friend. When I told her the reason for the appointment was a part of my daughter's birthday gift for her 16th. She said, "oh we are getting her in on her birthday". Since I was going to be there, I booked for myself as well. My daughter wanted a very eccentric color of blue and her stylist, Sana, did an AMAZING job. Being that this was part of my daughter's birthday gift, she chose what she wanted and although I was nervous about the blue, I couldn't take it back and say no to my daughter, but you can tell that Sana is extremely knowledgeable that I felt at ease with the process and having her do it, and I am so glad because it really came out amazing. When it came out to my hair, I wasnt sure the color I should go with and Faith was super patient and guided me as to what would be the best color for me and she was spot on. It came out very nice. She matched my natural color to a T. Before booking with this salon, I did my research as to the best place for eccentric color process and this one came out number 1. I am glad that the search guided me to her salon. The entire staff is so friendly and I felt like I knew them for years. They are all so personable. This is the first time I ever came here and I am definately making this my place for all my hair needs. I HIGHLY recommend this place. So if you are looking for a salon, dont look any further, this is the place to go, hands down."
